TORONTO, June 28 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index fell
at the open on Thursday, led lower by financial shares, as
investors grew skeptical that a European Union summit would make
progress on the region's debt crisis.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was down 40.78 points, or 0.36 percent, at 11,370.16
shortly after the open.
